Hey yall, Sara here. Today I decided to start a blog…a new one. I have had them in the past, but I feel like it’s time to start something where I can share my feelings, my trials and error, what God is showing me…and maybe just maybe its something that someone else is dealing with as well.
A few weeks ago it was said in our Sunday school class at church, that sometimes we are a cricket, simply being held securely in the hand of God and He is not letting go. During the dark times, when we feel like we are alone and everything seems to be crashing around us and we can’t seem to do anything right….its in those times that God is cradling us in His hand like we are a cricket trying to escape. We are held tightly and securely so we are not dropped, until we quite trying to escape and simply rest peacefully in His hands knowing He has us and is carrying us through the trials we are facing. Phil Wickham sings a song, Battle Belongs; and part of the lyrics say “And as I walk through the shadow, Your love surrounds me. There’s nothing to fear now for I am safe with you.” Our battles are not ours..they belong to God because He will not only fight them He defeats them. That’s how awesome a God we serve. During our dark moments, remember that He is fighting the battle for us and cradling us securely in His hand.
